7 nabbed on New Year day in Sonepat

Sonepat, Jan 2 (UNI) The police here nabbed seven people and recovered two pistols, two cartridges, 2.160 kg charas and Rs 655.

According to SSP Navdeep Singh Virk, the police recovered a country-made pistol nd a cartridge from Vijender alias Panni of Shahjadpur, a country made pistol from Ved Pal of Bhainswan Khurd and a cartridge from Sunil of Butana and registered aases under the arms act against them.

Similarly, 1.300 kg charas was seized from Sanjay of Balmiki Basti Gohana and 0.860 kg from Dharmbir alias Kala of Chidana while Rajkumar of local Kot Mohall and Sahil of local Sikka colony were caught red-handed while gambling on the occasion of New Year.

Cases have also been registered against them.
