Terrorist attack at Rampur CRPF camp

Lucknow, Jan 1 (UNI) Armed fidayeen attacked Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp in Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh early today.

According to sources, the attack occured at around 0300 hrs when the fidayeen tried to enter the camp from the gate.

According to preliminary information, about four people have been killed during the encounter.

The entire area has been sealed off and combing operation has started. Senior officials have rushed to the spot.

Earlier in the last week of November, intelligence agencies had issued an alert of possible terrorist attack at the CRPF camp in Rampur.
