TDP to exert pressure on Centre, State on MSP:Naidu

Hyderabad, Jan 1 (UNI) Opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP)President N Chandrababu Naidu today said his party would bring pressure on the Union and the State Governments for Minimum Support Price (MSP)of Rs 1,000 for paddy, in the state.

Addressing a gathering at his residence, he said the party would launch agitation for the welfare of the farmers in the state in the new year to secure the MSP for them.

He alleged the State Government had failed to exert pressure on the Centre on the issue.

The party would also actively participate in social activities through the NTR Trust in a big way.
