Prisoners escape after attacking police

Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 1 (UNI) A convict and an undertrial escaped from the Central Jail here after attacking the police, while being brought back from a court in Ernakulam, in connection with a case.

Sunil Kumar and Biju alias Karthik escaped last night after attacking the police personnel who were escorting them, police said adding a search was on for to nab them.
