Pop Queen celebrates New Year in Rajasthan

Jodhpur, Jan 1 (UNI) Pop Queen Madonna saw in the New Year, dancing in the desert till early hours today.

According to information, Madonna along with her family and friends comprising eight people, reached Jaipur by a Special Kingfisher flight from Maldives on Monday afternoon.

They then left for Jodhpur and checked in at Taj Hotel. From there, the group left for Dechu, about 100 km from here, for the new year celebration which they spent amid dance and music in the sand dunes.

According to the itinerary, she was to leave for Jaisalmer today but it is believed that she is still in and around Pali familiarising with the folk and art of Mewar before leaving India on January three.
