Gujarat town shivers at 2.9 degrees
Ahmedabad, Jan 1 (UNI) Nalia, a border town in Kutch, recorded a minimum temperature of 2.9 degrees celsius today while many other parts of the state too continued to reel under severe coldwave conditions.
In Nalia, schools and markets wore a deserted look as the shivering people preferred to remain indoors. This is the coldest winter in last 13 years.
Bhuj, the Kutch district headquarters, recorded a minimum temperature of 9.4 degrees while Amerli recorded a minimum temperature of 9.7 degrees.
