Former Union Education Minister dies

Kolkata, Jan 1 (UNI) Former Union Education Minister Dr Pratap Chandra Chander died at a private nursing home here today following prolonged illness.

He was 86.

He is survived by his wife and four sons.

The All India Minority Forum (AIMF) organised a condolence meet as a mark of respect for the departed soul.
