Cheating case against PAPSCO Official
Puducherry, Jan 1 (UNI) The Mudaliarpet Police has registered a case of cheating against Pondicherry Agro Products and Civil Supplies Corporation (PAPSCO) superintendent Arul Prakasam following a direction from Madras High Court.
Police said Arul Prakasam's friend Tamizharasan had given Rs 81,000 for giving a job to his son Rajkumar in PAPACO, in 2005.
Rajkumar died in an accident and Arul Pakasam failed to return the money to Tamizharasan.
Following this, Tamizharasan moved the Judicial Magistrate II Court. A compromise formula was worked out under which Arul Prakasam gave a written undertaking to return the money along with the interest totalling Rs 1.10 lakh in three instalments.
However, he failed to return the amount this time also following which Tamizharasan moved Madras High Court.
