Academic's house looted

Tiruchirapalli, Jan 1 (UNI) As many as 50 sovereigns of gold ornaments and other valuables were stolen from a house at K K Nagar Area here by unidentified people last night.

Police said Prof Murugadasan of Bharathidasan University and his family members, who were away, found their house ransacked when they returned this morning.
