TDP leader flays AP Govt for not fulfilling promises

Hyderabad, Dec 31 (UNI) Senior TDP leader and former Andhra Pradesh Minister T Devendar Goud today said that 2008 would be the "last year" for the Congress Government in the state.

Addressing the press here, Mr Goud alleged that Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy had failed to fulfil the election promises.

The people had "realised" that the Congress Government had "cheated" them during its 24-month regime, Mr Goud said.

He observed that the Congress had "lost" people's faith as it failed to focus on the state's welfare and development.
