Saurashtra-Kutch reels under coldwave

Ahmedabad, Dec 31 (UNI) Severe cold wave conditions continued in Saurashtra region of Gujarat, disrupting normal life today.

According to the Meteorological Department, many parts of Saurashtra and Kutch recorded temperatures well below normal.

While Bhuj and Nalia in Kutch recorded a minimum temperature of 9.5 and 2.2 degree Celsius respectively, Amareli recorded 9.7 degree and Rajkot 8.2 degrees.
