M P Prabhunath Singhs father passes away

Chhapra, Dec 31 (UNI) Basudev Singh, father of Janta Dal(United) MP Prabunath Singh passed away here today at Barhia Tola under Mashrak, his native village in Saran district after protracted illness.

He was 95 and is survived by four sons and one daughter.

His eldest son, Prabhunath Singh is a JD(U) M P from Maharajganj, while his third son Kedar Nath Singh is JD(U) MLA from Mashrak Assembly constituency.

Meanwhile, former MP Arun Kumar had condoled the demise of Mr Singh and said he was a symbol of social reform and would be cherished for long.
