Kidwai, Hooda greet peope on New Year

Chandigarh, Dec 31 (UNI) Haryana Governor A R Kidwai and Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda have extended their warm greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of new year.

In a message issued here on the eve of new year, the Governor wished that the new year might usher prosperity and happiness in the lives of the people and the state might continue to progress by leaps and bounds.

In his message, the Chief Minister wished that the year 2008 might usher in a new era of rapid development in the State.

He urged the people to resolve to rise above parochial differences and make their significant contribution in realising the dream of making Haryana number one State in all spheres of development in the country.

Mr Hooda also wished them a brighter future, sound health and more prosperity in the year to come.

Haryana Chief Secretary Promilla Issar also greeted the people and employees of the State a very happy and prosperous new year.
