Uttar Pradesh:Jeweller shot dead

Mau, Dec 31: Unidentified armed miscreants shot dead a jeweller in Kopaganj area of this district. The incident took place late last night, when Sunil Verma was returning after closing his shop along with brother Sushil.

Sunil was, however, shot at when he tried to stop the miscreants robbery attempt. He died on the spot, police said today. Investigations were underway.
