Governor greets people on New Year

Mumbai, Dec 31 (UNI) Maharashtra Governor S M Krishna today greeted the people on the occasion of New Year.

In a special message, the Governor said, ''The New Year offers us an opportunity to make a fresh beginning, set new goals and dream new dreams. Let us all resolve to work hard and with dedication in the New Year to fulfill our dreams and try to make meaningful contribution to society through our efforts.'' ''I wish a very Happy New Year to all the people, especially farmers, jawans, workers, students, elders and children. May the new year bring happiness and success to one and all,'' he added.
