Four including a model arrested in extortion case

Mumbai, Dec 31 (UNI) Four people, including a small time television actor and model Amar Kumar, were arrested by police in connection with an alleged extortion case here today.

The police also claimed to have recovered two country-made pistols, four cartridges and two knives from their possession.

The other arrested persons have been identified as Jitendra alias Santosh, Sandeep Ramesh Gahlot (22) and Kuldeep Chandeliya Lou (30).

According to the police, the accused were demanding Rs 50,000 as extortion money from a local builder in the Samta Nagar area of Kandivali suburb.
