Dhumal greets people on New Year

Shimla, Dec 31 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today wished a happy and prosperous New Year to the people of the state.

In his message, he thanked them for the overwhelming support extended to the BJP during the Assembly elections, which brought him back to power for the second time in the state.

Mr Dhumal said the state was poised to witness the dawn of new era of development under his leadership during which uniform and balanced development would be carried and attention paid towards the areas and sections of the society, which had remained under developed due to one or the other reason.

He assured that his government would function by rising above all political considerations and not resort to political victimization of its opponents.
