Couple killed by friends

Saharsa, Dec 31 (UNI) A couple were killed and their minor child injured by their friend at his house near Islam Miyan Chowk under Sadar police station in Bihar late last night.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Kunwar Singh said here today that one Aman Singh, who had invited some of his friends for dinner, got involved in an altercation with his friends and shot dead Mr Singh and his wife on the spot while their minor child sustained severe injuries.

The bodies were sent for postmortem and an FIR had been lodged in the concerned police station, the SP added.
