CM, Governor greets people on New Year

Ahmedabad, Dec 31, (UNI) Gujarat Governor Nawal Kishore Sharma and Chief Minister Narendra Modi today extended their greetings to the people of the state on the eve of New Year.

Governor Nawal Kishore Sharma extended his warm greetings to all and said that he has prayed that the year 2008 may bring happiness, peace and prosperity for all.

Meanwhile Mr Modi in a message, wished all citizens of the state a happy and prosperous new year, and said, ''Let us all pledge to speed up the process of development in Gujarat.'' UNI
