Axis Bank opens branch at Bhiwandi

Mumbai, Dec 31 (UNI) Axis Bank, the third largest ATM network in India, inaugurated its new branch at Hotel Ashok, Bhiwandi-Kalyan Road in Thane district today.

In a statement, Axis Bank President S K Nandi said, ''This marks yet another step towards the extensive consumer banking focus that we are providing across the country, and reinforces our commitment to bring superior banking services, marked by convenience and closeness, to customers.'' Axis Bank has a network of 587 branches, 21 extension counters and 2,583 ATMs across the country. The branches, spread across more than 363 cities and towns, enable the Bank to reach out to a large cross-section of customers with an array of products and services catering to both the retail and the corporate segment.
