Wanted criminal held

Azamgarh, Dec 30 (UNI) A wanted criminal, carrying a bounty of Rs 2,500 on his head, has been arrested by police in Mehnagar area here.

Police today said they stopped a person on account of suspiscion late last night. He had later opened fire at them.

The arrested, identified as Manoj alias Chedi, was accused in various heinous crimes.
