UPWSC disposes 2785 cases

Lucknow, Dec 30 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh State Woman Commission (UPSWC) has disposed of 2,785 cases related to violence against women in the last six months.

The State Women Commission President Abha Agnihotri here today said, the commission is working on 13532 cases, which includes 914 cases of domestic violence, 710 of rape attempt, 447 of attempt to murder, 434 of murder, 215 of exploitation, 7937 of harassement, 158 of police atrocities, 372 of murder for dowry, 1476 of dowry harassement and 304 of abduction.
