Two killed as lorry runs over

Puducherry, Dec 30 (UNI) Two persons were killed on the spot and another was seriously injured, when a sand-laden lorry ran over them at Koodapakkam near Villianur here yesterday.

Police said the trio was on the way to hire a 'shamiana' when the mishap occurred.

The deceased were identified as Parthasarathi and Mannar.

The injured Siva was admitted to Government General Hospital here in a serious condition.
