Two held, heroin worth Rs 13 crores seized

Belgaum, Dec 30 (UNI) Police arrested two people and seized 13 kg of heroin and 520 catamine tablets, worth over Rs 13 crores in international market, here today.

District Superintendent of Police Hemant Nibalkar told newspersons that the duo were arrested following a tip-off.

They arrived with the contraband from Mumbai to sell it in Goa during the new year celebration.

The arrested were identified as Anurag alias Nikky, a native of Deharadun and Dharani, a native of Davanagere in Karnataka.
