Smack worth Rs 10 lakh seized, one held

Sultanpur, Dec 30 (UNI) Police today arrested a smuggler and seized 250 gm smack, estimated at Rs 10 lakh in the market, from his possession in city Kotwali area here.

Special Operation Group of Uttar Pradesh Police and local police conducted a raid in Badhaiya Beer colony and arrested Pradeep Yadav.

The arrested is said to be the leader of his gang, who used to smuggle smack from Barabanki, police said.

The accused has been sent to jail, while a search to nab other gang members was on.
