Registered Madarsas can now apply for recognition

Lucknow, Dec 30 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government has ended a condition relating to the recognition of the Madarsas, whereby they were granted recognition only after the registration of their managing committees for three years.

Now, the Madarsas, registered under the Society Registraion Act can also apply for their recognition.

UP minority welfare department secretary Dr M A A Khan today said '' the primary level recognition would be given by a committee set up under the aegis of district minority welfare official.'' UNI
