Narendra Modi defines secularism

Bhuj, Dec 30: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today said secularism to him meant economic and overall development of people.

Addressing the audience after inaugurating a pharmacy college in Virayatan Vidyapeeth complex, about 50 km from here, Mr Modi said ''The intellectuals make lot of noise but to my mind secularism means economic and overall development of people.'' ''I have always believed in uplift of 5.5 crore Gujaratis,'' he added.
