Gujarat has 60 pc share in pharma sector: Modi

Bhuj, Dec 30 (UNI) Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today said the main focus of the state's education policy was on promoting technical education to generate more employment.

Addressing the audience after inaugurating a pharmacy college in Virayatan Vidyapeeth complex, about 50 km from here, Mr Modi said 60 years ago, a Gujarati industrialist established a pharmacy college in Ahmedabad and since then, the state has been at forefront in the pharma sector.

''Gujarat and Gujaratis have 60 per cent share in country's pharma industry,'' he added.
