an
aptly
titled
book
''Temples
of
Jodhpur''
here.
''Its a new concept, and the book takes you inside forts of Jodhpur apart from the usually more well known palaces,'' Bollywood director Sunil Darshan, who launched the book on Friday, said.
''Though meant for travellers and tourists, it is scientifically designed with corresponding Marwari folk songs, Sanskrit ''Shlokas'' and Hindi rhymes,'' co-author Jyoti Kathju said.
Though there are 300 temples in the city of Jodhpur, the book focuses on 18 lesser known ones and carries some impressive images and details on its historical, religious and architectural heritage.
It also carries road-map alongside each stucture which proves invaluable for the adventurous and backpacking travellers.
