Chandigarh, Dec 30 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and Prime Ministerial candidate L K Advani today said his party's victory in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh elections indicated the change of India's political map in the future.

''The end of year 2007 clearly portends the beginning of the end of the UPA rule at the Centre'', he said, addressing a press conference here.

Mr Advani the coming year will be a 'year of Change' in Indian politics, and the change will be heralded by the BJP.

Stating that the BJP was on a comeback trail, he said the internal squabbles between the UPA and the Left showed that the only thing that kept them together was their ''blind anti-BJPism''.

To ensure that the BJP does not return to power, the two seemed ready for any compromise, he said. However, they would not be able to stop the comeback march of the BJP in 2008, Mr Advani asserted.

The BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate said his party was committed to evolving an effective agenda to deal with each of the issues where the UPA Government had ''proved to be an utter failure''.

He said the solutions to all problems facing the nation lay in ''good governance, equitable development, national scurity and probity in public life''.

''I assure the people of India that these will remain the ideals guiding my political campaign in the coming year'', he added.
