Manipur: Abducted official still untraceable

Imphal, Dec 30: An official of the Manipur Education department has been missing after he was allegedly abducted by unknown miscreants on December 15, official sources said here today.

The Manipuri Chanura Leishem Marup (Macha Leima) demanded the immediate release of Salam Indrajit Singh, Section Officer of the Engineering Cell of the state Education department.

Meanwhile, police said they had not yet been able to ascertain the identity of the kidnappers.
