Jammu, Dec 30 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir Police rescued a teenage girl from the clutches of four people, who allegedly raped her repeatedly for around one month after kidnapping her from the city area here, official sources today said.

The sources said the girl was rescued yesterday from an isolated place near Bantalab on the city outskirts and arrested four youths allegedly involved in the crime.

''A ninth standard student was rescued from the hideout of four youths after 25 days,'' the sources told UNI, adding that the girl was missing since December 4 but the complaint was lodged by her parents on December 10 at the nearby police station.

However, knowing about the presence of 14-year-old missing girl in the confinement at a secluded place, a police party on tip-off raided the house yesterday afternoon and rescued the girl while all the four youths were also arrested, the sources said.

Meanwhile, after a medical examination, it was found that the girl was repeatedly raped by the accused. She has been restored to her parents.

The accused have been identified as -- Pawan Kumar, Deepak Sharma, Ajay Kumar and Bunty while except Bunty, who was involved in conspiracy, has been booked under section 120 B and others have been charged with kidnapping and rape of the girl under Sections 366, 376 and 343 of the RPC, the sources said.
