3 children drown

Sivaganga, Dec 30 (UNI) Three children, including two girls, drowned in a lake at Ariyandipuram village here last evening.

Police today said Nithya (7), Suganya (8) and Sakthivel (6) had gone to the river to take bath.

As the children failed to return home, the villagers launched a search and found the bodies floating in the river.

Later, the bodies were sent to government hospital for post-mortem.
