3 ancient idols recovered

Sultanpur, Dec 30 (UNI) Three ancient idols, dating back to 13th century, were recovered from Amethi area here. According to sources today, the idols were recovered under a peepal tree yesterday, when digging work for construction of a temple was underway in Thakurganj town.

The recovered idols of God Vishnu, God Ganesh and Godess Durga, are ancient and of archeological importance.
