2 women among 6 criminals held

Agra, Dec 30 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh police today arrested six members of Meerut's notorious Saleem gang, including two women, and seized valuables worth rupees several lakh from them.

The syndicate had committed various crimes in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

The arrested included Bhanvarpal, Deepak, Vinod, Bhoj Raj, Kamla and Gayatri, Senior Police Superintendent Naveen Arora today said.

Cars, fridge, TVs, cell phones and jewllery, estimated at Rs 50 lakh, were seized from their possession yesterday.

Meanwhile, a reward of Rs 2,000 has been announced for the people team.
