'Sachchar Comt will solve Muslims problem'


Jaipur, Dec 29: Rajasthan Governor Shilendra Kumar Singh and Gujarat Governor Nawal Kishore Sharma hoped that the Sachchar Committee report would soon be implemented to fulfill the aspirations of economically and educationally weaker strata of the Muslims.

Speaking at the AFMI annual internation conference on education, Mr Singh said he was hopeful that the Sachchar Committee report would be implemented soon to solve the problem of economic and educational backwardness being faced by the muslims. Mr Sharma said despite fast economic growth and globalisation the problem of poverty and illiteracy still stood a serious challenge before the nation and Muslim community was also hit by these problem.

He said that now Sachchar Committee had brightened prospects for a solution and relief to the poor Muslim population.

He said that NGOs and other help groups should come forward to help the community in building pressure in this regard.

Speaking on the occasion Haryana Governor AR Kidwai praised the Centre for effective implementation of policies of liberalisation and globalisation for making India a developed nation by 2020.
