Gold closes at two years high; silver up

Mumbai, Dec 29: The spot gold value today closed at two years high at Rs 10,765 per ten gm with a handsome gain of Rs 105, while silver ended firm at Rs 19,455 per kg with a smart gain of Rs 90 from their last close on lack of offers by stockists along with encouraging advice from global markets, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.

Following were the closing rates of spot Silver and Gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 19,455 (19,365) Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 10,715 (10,610) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 10,765 (10,660).
