3 criminals shot dead in police encounter

Agra, Dec 29: Three criminals were killed in a police encounter today in the Khedgarh area here.

On a tip-off, police laid a cordon at Behad near Motipur village, where three of the criminals were killed during an exchange of fire, whereas others managed to escape, senior superintendent of police Navin Arora said.

A hunt is on to nab the absconders. The identites of the slain criminals are yet to be ascertained, police said.
