Silver and gold closes at nine week high

Mumbai, Dec 28: The precious metals today ended at a nine week high with Silver rising modestly by Rs five per kg and Gold by Rs 95 per ten gm from their last close on sustained good festival demand by ornament makers along with encouraging advice from global markets, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said. Following are the closing rates of spot Silver and Gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 19,365 (19,360) Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 10,610 (10,515) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 10,660 (10,565).
