AIFB condemn Benazir assassination

Kolkata, Dec 28 (UNI) All India Forward Bloc(AIFB) today said the assassination of former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto was a major blow to the democracy loving people of that country.

"We condemn the killing and express our sympathy to the bereaved family of the Pakistan opposition leader. The Pakistan People's Party(PPP) leader's killing cast a shadow of fear in this continent," party's state secretary Ashok Ghosh said in a statement here.

He also said that the fundamentalist forces were attacking the churches in Orissa for their political gain.

Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik should take strict action against the culprits and appeal to the people to resist the fundamentalist forces peacefully, he said.
