Modi sworn in as Chief Minister of Gujarat

Ahmedabad, Dec 25, 2007 : After pulling off a stunning win in India's western Gujarat, Bharatiya Janata Party leader, Narendra Modi was sworn in as chief Minister for the third term on December 25th.

Modi was sworn in by Governor Naval Kishore Sharma at the Sardar Patel stadium in Ahmedabad where thousands of his supporters had gathered to watch the man of the moment to take oath. Soon after taking oath, leaders from the BJP and its allies took turns to greet Modi.
