Silver, gold close at six week high

Mumbai, Dec 27: Both the precious metals ended at a six week high today with Silver gaining smartly by Rs 190 per kg and Gold by Rs 120 per ten gm from their last close on lack of offloading by stockists along with bullish advice from Asian countries, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.

Following are the closing rates of spot Silver and Gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 19,360 (19,170) Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 10,515 (10,395) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 10,565 (10,445).
