Mayawati condemns Bhutto's assassination
Lucknow, Dec 27 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati today condemned the assassination of former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, saying the sub-continent has lost a leader, who worked for democracy and reconciliaton in her country.
''Ms Bhutto was as popular as her father...she was an eminent figure in Pakistani political life. The political stalwart became the Pakistan PM twice,'' Mayawati said in a condolence message.
