Lok Sabha Speaker condemns attack on Bhutto

Santiniketan, Dec 27 (UNI) Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee today condemned the assassination of Pakistan Opposition leader and former prime minister Benazir Bhutto and warned the government against possible impact of militant activities in India.

''It is a sad incident and we condemn it,'' Mr Chatterjee said and added, ''The Centre and state governments should take necessary measures to face any terror attacks on our country from across the border.''
