"It is a sad day for Pak democracy:" Congress

New Delhi, Dec 27 (UNI) The Congress Party today expressed shock at the assassination of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.

"It is absolutely shocking...It is a sad day for democracy in Pakistan,"AICC Spokesperson Jayanthi Natarajan told UNI here .

"We hope that the democratic process in South Asia would not be hurt by this incident," she said.
