CM nod for filling 500 government posts

Hyderabad, Dec 27: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today allowed the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) to fill 500 government posts in various departments.

The notification for the first phase of recruitment would be issued tomorrow and the notification for the second phase of recruitment in June 2008, an official release said. The release said an analysis carried out by the finance department and 18 other departments, separately, had identified 12,214 vacancies in engineering, regulatory and social sector departments.
