Two killed, 25 injured in road accident

Darbhanga, Dec 26: At least two people were killed and 15 injured in a road accident near Bankipur village in the district today.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Parvez Akhtar here said the accident occurred when a jeep carrying 17 passengers from Adhma village to Laheriasarai overturned near Bankipur village.

While two passengers died on the spot the injured were rushed to Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital, where the condition of five of them was stated to be critical, Mr Akhtar added. UNI
