Silver, gold end higher on bullish advices

Mumbai, Dec 26: Both the precious metals spurted up for the second consecutive day today with Silver gaining Rs 55 per kg and Gold Rs five per ten gm from their last close on festival demand by ornament-makers along with bullish advice from Asian countries, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.

Following are the closing rates of spot Silver and Gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 19,170 (19,115) Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 10,395 (10,390) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 10,445 (10,440).
