Raid at Munna Bajrangi's house in UP

Jaunpur, Dec 26: Police today claimed to have raided the house of wanted mafia don Prem Prakash Singh alias Munna Bajrangi here, who is carrying a total bounty of Rs 12 lakh on his head.

Munna is also wanted in the BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai murder case.

After receiving information that some of Munna's aides have taken shelter at his house in village Puredayal in Sureri area, a raid was conducted, but nothing was recovered from the spot, Police Superintendent of Police Lalji Shukla today said.

A search to nab the accused was on, he added.

The Uttar Pradesh government and the (CBI) had announced a reward of Rs seven lakh and five lakh respectively on the mafia's head.
