Addressing the press here, he said Mr Modi would be one of the leading campaigners for the party in the next general elections. The 'Modi charisma' would help the party to win more seats, he said, adding the BJP's victory in Gujarat under the leadership of Mr Modi had a great impact on national politics.
Reiterating that there was no rethinking over senior leader L K Advani being projected as the prime ministerial candidature, he said 'terrorism' and 'vote bank politics' would be the BJP's main poll planks in the next elections.
Alleging that the UPA would further weaken and its allies would lose faith in the leadership of AICC President Sonia Gandhi in the coming days, Mr Naidu said the 'negative propaganda' by the Opposition Congress during the election campaign against Mr Modi did not help them.
''There has been no communal violence and tension since 2002 in Gujarat. People voted in favour of the BJP because they benefitted during the Modi regime,'' he added.
